To post or not to post
So, we finally did it! We've been developing this blog for a while now, but because of one thing or another (technical glitches, production schedule, Lori's health), we haven't been able to actually announce it... Until today.
And I'm really excited about having this new peice to the Gilead puzzle to offer to fans, but now I'm VERY aware that people are actually going to SEE what I write!! And wow, writing really isn't my strong suit! I mean, Lori doesn't have anything to worry about--she kinda does this for a living. But I, on the other hand... Well, let's just say you're going to have to put up with my random ramblings, and I'm going to have to come to terms with the fact that it's not just practice posts anymore (like everything else I've put up here so far). Now there's a much better chance that actual people are going to look at what...

Well, it seems at the end of every season it gets pretty tight, so I shouldn't be surprised... right?
But I think we went into this season already behind--with the comittment to not split the season into two parts like we've had to do in almost every previous season. Then in August, I got the "go ahead" to hire Cal to help out part time with post production--what a relief that was!
UNTIL
We started having equipment problems in totally unrelated componets that put the porduction process into a near stand-still. Over the course of about 3 weeks, we were very "stop & go" which seriously set us back. Three weeks may not seem like much, but when you're already right on your deadlines (or a week late), that much time really puts a squeeze on ya.
So here we are in the middle of post production on episodes 10 and 11, the first of which will air in just over 2 weeks. Episode 12 has been recorded, but post production has not yet started, and probably won't until these two are done. After...

Welcome to the very first ever Lori Twichell Coleraine Connection Funcast Blog. Wow, we really have to do something about the length of some of these names don't we? But I suppose it matches the funcast name....
Anyway, this is the place for fans of Down Gilead Lane to find out more about the program, CBH Ministries, the writing process, and the latest news. Oh and of course there's always There's also a chance you might find some 'missing scenes' or background story here that you didn't know about your favorite Coleraine residents!
So welcome - sit back and put up your feet and enjoy the ride!

Hey peeps, Steve here (AKA: allears). Just testing out the new CC Funcast blog page. I have been eager to get this new extention of the DGL universe off the ground, and it looks like we're finally there! I'm sure there will still be bugs to work out of the system, but I'm excited to be able to announce the site on the next podcast! This site will be kind of an ongoing version of the old Gilead Insider e-newsletter. We'll throw pictures, on here, update you on DGL-related news, do regular surveys, and basically keep a running journal of the production process.
Of course, that's just the tip of the iceburg! This site will grow and evolve as time goes on! We want to have lots of interactivity adn feedback here, so get registered and comment on what you see here.

It’s Spring Break, and the Morrisons are headed to Washington, D.C. They’re all super excited about the things they’ll get to see and do there—all of them, that is, except Brooke. She thinks it’s selfish of them to go on a fun-filled vacation when other people are giving their week to serve on a mission field.
But wait a minute, Brooke. Aren’t we supposed to be missionaries wherever we go?
Brooke had a change of heart when she and her family have a surprising encounter on the plane to D.C.
