11/13/2007 - Two new specials to air this holiday season
As we head into the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons, DGL producers announce that there will be two new episodes mixed in with the airing of the familiar holiday favorites listeners have come to know and love.
This past weekend, the first Thanksgiving special Peas and Thank You aired; this coming weekend (November 17), To Grandmother's House We Go, will air; and then, the first new Thanksgiving special since 2002, Table Talk will be unvieled the weekend of the 24th!
The festivities continue throughout the month of December with the Christmas standard: From Mary with Love the weekend of the 1st, O Little town of Coleraine the 8th, last year's Christmas Heirlooms the 15th, and the brand new Putting the Christmas Back in Hope the weekend of the 22nd!
Dedicated DGL fans may have noticed the omission of one particular Christmas episode. Well, we didn't forget about The Best Christmas on Record. In fact, this year that episode will be our gift to the subscribers of the Coleraine Connection Funcast! That's right! Some time during the month of December, we will be posting the original broadcast version of that episode on the podcast feed! Just remember to keep checking back to the Funcast directory to find out when it's been posted. Happy Holidays!!
10/30/2007 - CBH Ministries announces release date of DGL Season 9 set
With one episode left to air in the ninth season of the hit family radio drama: Down Gilead Lane, the release date of the CD collection has been announced! Just in time for Christmas gift-giving, the set will hit the streets monday, December 3, 2007.
Just like with the Season 8 set, this one comes with a special incentive for pre-orders! Throughout the month of November, if you reserve your copy ahead of time, CBH Ministries will include a free limited-edition, signed copy of a photograph of the actors who play the Richters! Tom, Monica, Caleb, Tiffany and Maya were all in the studio during the recording of the episode: It's a Richterful Life, and being the rare occasion that it was, we dicided to snap off a couple photos! Now, a piece of this rare occasion can be yours! All you have to do is reserve your copy of Down Gilead Lane season 9 by the end of November! CBH Ministries is conducting auditions to cast the the part of Justin in the hit radio drama DOWN GILEAD LANE. This part calls for a deep-voiced older teen to college age male.
